My experience at BVNW has been a pretty good experience for the most part. There were only a couple of teachers who were not the best, but the rest were really good and nice. One of the main things lacking in our school is school spirit. We are still trying to recover from COVID and our school's spirit has started coming back little by little. I wouldn't change anything from my experience, and it felt like the traditional high school experience.

The reason why I went to Blue Valley Northwest was that we moved, and I had to start a few weeks of my freshman year alone and by myself. I don't regret it as some warm students were willing to talk to me and be there for me. The teachers are good, but there were some teachers Who I will say did not do a good job, and instead of taking the teacher the class rushed through it which the learning experience hard. So looking back there is not much I would change just beside I wish the teacher did more in teaching.

Blue Valley Northwest High School offers competitive, high-quality education, as well as a multitude of extracurricular activities, highly ranked athletic programs, and many opportunities for fine arts. As a student, I can often say I feel proud attending BVNW. There are several opportunities for AP and dual enrollment classes eligible for college credit. On top of that, BVNW offers many honors classes that students can take for higher-end learning and great chance at an A. Furthermore, the school's athletic department often brings home KSHSAA state championships, and offers athletic opportunities for both boys and girls.
However, it seems as though the performing arts struggles with financial support from the district. Band, orchestra, vocal music, and drama productions (musical theater, plays) either require upfront payment by the student to participate or entirely rely on parent-booster organizations. This comes off as neglectful for students seeking performing arts opportunities.
