Shorewood, Wisconsin Lee David Thompson 1942 — 2024 Lee Thompson of Manitowoc lost his four-year battle with cancer at the home of his sister, Connie Jo, in Shorewood (Milwaukee), WI on May 24. He was 81 years old. A 1960 alumnus of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, Lee joined the US Air Force following graduation and attended courses in Russian at Syracuse University and at the Presidio in Monterey, CA to become a fluent speaker for the US military. He earned an associate's degree. He served 27 years in the Air Force doing intelligence work.
